Effect Of Premarital Sex

Premarital sex is a type of sexual intercourse between a man and a woman before marriage. Premarital sex has or can cause many dangers in the life of people especially females.

Premarital sex can lead to unwanted pregnancy, a guy who is not ready for marriage but impregnate someone can deny the child which has resulted to unwanted pregnancy.

Premarital sex can lead to the transmission or contacting of STI. STI like HIV/AIDS, Gonorrhoea, Staphylococus. People who are not legally married or prepared to married, and have not gone to the hospital for test, but have sexual intercourse with themselves whereby one of them is infected with STI can transmit it to the other person and get infected.

Premarital sex can lead to poverty, when two young people have sex with themselves and it lead to pregnancy and the guy does not have money to take care of the family(mother and child), it will lead to poverty, where the family will be suffering just because the father or mother are not old enough to become parents.

Premarital sex also destroy the life of the female child involved, A female child who involved in premarital sex with a guy will face a lot of problem in life, it can lead to depression, drop out in school, committing of suicide etc. The guy could even run away and leave the child for the mother to take care of.

Premarital sex that later result to marriage can lead to stop in education, young people who are not yet up to the age of marriage and are still schooling but get themselves impregnated can stop their education, just to get themselves married and take care of the child.

Premarital sex can lead to corruption in the society, A guy who impregnated someone can be forced to do things like stealing, kidnapping, cyber crime etc. Just to take care of the child and the mother.

Premarital sex can also lead to lack of parental care for the child who has been given birth to, An unwanted pregnancy dumped by the parents, will make the child lack parental care and can even lead to lack of education for the child.

In Conclusion, Premarital sex destroys the life of the people involved in it, both the male and the female. And it also cause financial crisis in the family. No one should ever involve himself/herself in premarital sex.
