History Of Apex Legends
Apex Legends is a free to play battle royale-hero shooter game, and is the second best online game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStations 4, and Xbox One in February 2019, and for Nintendo Switch in March 2021. A mobile version of the game that was specially designed for touchscreen titled Apex Legends Mobile has also been announced which is scheduled to be fully released on Android and iOS by 2022. The game supports cross-platform play.
Before the match, players form into two or three-player squads and select from pre-designed characters with distinctive abilities known as "Legends". The game has two gameplay modes. In "Battle Royale" , up to twenty three persons squads or thirty two persons show land on an island and search for weapons and supplies before attempting to defeat all other opponent players in combat. The available play area on the shrink over time on the island, forcing players to keep going or else they find themselves outside the play area which can be dangerous. The last team standing wins that round. In "Arenas" player form into three player team and fight against another team in a three versus three team deathmatch over a couple of rounds to determine the winner of the match. A team can only win when their team has at least three points and two points ahead.
Apex Legends is set in the same science fiction Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall series, with some characters from the Titanfall series, appearing either as playable Legends or minor characters. The developing of the game began in 2016, though the project was a secret right up until it's launch. The releasing of the game in 2019 came as a suprise, as at that point it has been assumed that Respawn Entertainment's has been working on the third installment to the Titan Franchise, the Studio's major recent game. Apex Legends received generally positive review from people who praised it's game.
Apex Legends has surpassed 25 million players by the first week of it's release, and 50 million players by the first month of its release. As at April 2021, It has approximately 100 million players.
